Half Mooņe Cruise and Celebration Center Norfolk Virginia

Build in 2007 to welcome cruise ships to Norfolk Virginia this 80,000 square foot facility has encountered many challenges from the economy to competition from other east coast ports.  Located next to Nauticus in downtown Norfolk the Half Mooņe Cruise Center also serves as an event venue with about 23,000 square feet of event space for weddings, parties, meetings and more.

Norfolk Virginia Downtown Area

Over the past century Norfolk's downtown waterfront area has transformed from a busy shipping port to a modern and active city.  Since 1980 the city has made many investments in the downtown area.  New facilities such as Waterside Festival Marketplace, Norfolk Tides Harbor Park, Nauticus, Half Mooņe Cruise Terminal, Harrison Opera House and MacArthur Center have attracted private investments more downtown residents.
